Twitter

I joined the twitter world a few years ago to see what the big hype was. When I first saw it, I wasn't really impressed. I didn't understand the joy in looking at people's random thoughts. But then I realized I see that and even do it on facebook. What I like about twitter is that you can follow anyone who has an account. I will admit I do follow some of my favorite celebrities and see what they are doing. But I also like to follow BBC news, The History Channel, Barack Obama, and so on. It can really be a great tool for people to get quick information about things going on in the world or even just seeing what people are up too. If you follow someone, you will be able to read what people "tweet" however if someone doesnt follow you, they cannot read what you write.

Now.. getting to understand it better, I like it. I don't use it all the time but I feel like its like an RSS feed.. just with people's thoughts
