Bull Run Library Wiki

I really like how this wiki is done. The Bull Run Library makes their wiki very easy to navigate, clear and colorful. I think patrons of this library would find it a lot easier to use this wiki to learn about the resources and programs at their library than the website itself. It also allows patrons to be participants within the library community by editing and publishing their own input. The website can also be translated into 52 different languages!

I also like that their wiki has an interactive feel to it. In the adult program page, not only are the programs listed, but then they are displayed on a calendar.

The wiki itself is updated fairly regularly; every few days or so. The last post was about 4 days ago. To me, it appears to function as a main source of patrons to access information on their library. So, then I guess my question is, why use the wiki instead of a web page? Maybe because its more interactive?
