DropBox

So I was looking around I-tunes and I even looked up some references to see what some of the best apps are for librarians. I came across one that I think is really great and it is called DropBox. Especially for librarians, information retrival and organizing information is CRUCIAL. This app allows for it. It is also very accomodating to the 21st century in that it allows you to sync files across the web and you can access them anywhere. So, if you work on something from your home computer and you need to run to the office, you can use this app and it will sync it to whatever mobile device you have (smartphone, i-pad, laptops)

this is what the app looks like. I know myself being someone who owns multiple mobile devices (smartphone, i-pad, laptop, e-reader) that this is something I would most benefit from .

  1. I agree that this app is very useful. One of the librarians at my job uses it and recommends it to everybody. A lot of other professionals use it as well.

  2. I use dropbox all the time. The teachers at work are always losing or forgetting their flash drives so when I found this I though it was great.
